La Democracia es responsabilidad de todos
“Democracy is Everyone’s Responsibility” is a Civic Education Booklet, available in Spanish, issued in 1992 by PARTICIPA, Chile. The booklet describes democracy and informs citizens of how they may participate in building a democratic society. By teaching the values of democracy to the readers and its importance, the booklet is meant to serve as an incentive for people to participate in creating a democratic Chile. The Campaign Game
This document contains five separate civic education board games. Each game is focused on a different theme such as “Media Land,” a game about the media in politics, or “Land of Liberty,” a game about citizenship in the US. The games came out in 1992 the same year as the presidential election between George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton.

The bulletin contains articles on the Second Bolivarian Conference of Civic Institutions, women in democracy as well as it gives insights on civic education and program training info related to it. Additionally, it lists 17 human rights.

Educating Elementary Children About Local Government
The pamphlet, “Educating Elementary Children about Local Government,” distributed in 1991 by the International City/County Management Association, provides three examples of how local governments attempted to educate youth on the functions and procedures of local government. The responsibilities of local officials as well as the system of voting are explained through illustrations, interactive games, and simple descriptions. The three example cities provided are Cupertino, California, Brentwood, Tennessee, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Faites votre histoire en Theatre!
“Faites votre histoire en Theatre!” is a pamphlet from 1991, available in French, made in joint production by the National Assembly, the Director General of Elections in Quebec and the Minister of Education in Quebec, that provides plans for theatre activities to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of the Parliamentary Institutions in Quebec, coming up in 1992. The pamphlet is aimed at middle and high school students in the hope that this ‘historic theatre’ activity will raise awareness of the government system in Quebec.
