“Pastoral Exhortation of Philippine Politics” is a pastoral letter from September 16, 1997, which addresses the unequal and ‘hurtful’ way in which Philippine politics are conducted. The document, published by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, urges citizens of the Philippines to vote more intelligently, choosing candidates with integrity who will not cheat the people given the chance.
