Naila Rafique

Naila Rafique is a program officer at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), where she supports IFES democracy and governance programming in the South Asia region, specifically in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Before working for IFES, Rafique worked at Helen Keller International, providing day-to-day program management support to a long-term public health and development program in Burkina Faso and Cameroon. She also led efforts in conducting research and analysis used throughout program design for more effective project implementation in coordination with global partners.

She holds a master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in international development and gender from American University and a bachelor’s degree in global affairs from George Mason University.
