Sudan Election Administration Support Program
From 2009-13 IFES implemented the “Sudan Election Administration Support Program” (SEASP) to support Sudan’s national electoral processes during the interim period called for by the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which marked the end of Sudan’s most recent civil war.

On February 26, Iranians will vote for the 290-member Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iran’s Parliament, also known as the Majlis) and the 88-member Assembly of Experts. Beyond Quotas: Political Accommodations and Gender in South Sudan
Since its birth, South Sudan has taken progressive steps toward creating an inclusive government – attempting to achieve gender equality in all levels of government. In July 2013, IFES and Conflict Dynamics International conducted a workshop to assist women members of government, civil servants and civil society members identify practical steps to ensure the nation’s electoral system genuinely accommodates women’s interests. This report presents the results of the workshop.
