Francophone Election Administrators Establish Women’s Forum
On June 7, Francophone election administrators voted unanimously to create a Women’s Forum to bring together women in senior leadership positions in national election administration. The creation of the forum is a major step toward advancing the network’s commitment to women’s political equality in its member states.

Las Conquistas Juridicas de las Mujeres
“Women’s Juridical Conquests” is a civic education handbook, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by Olga Caballero Aquino and Rafael Denida on behalf of CEPEM and it is meant to familiarize readers with the juridical achievements attained by women throughout time. The handbook briefly lists the situation of women from all around the world, from the ancient times until present days, and later goes on to describe the juridical situation of women in Paraguay.
