IFES has worked in Asia for the past three decades supporting election management bodies, civil society and other electoral stakeholders in their efforts to promote electoral integrity.

On November 8, 2015, Myanmar will hold general elections. The 2015 elections will be an important milestone in Myanmar’s democratic transition. Approximately 30 million people are eligible to vote in this upcoming election, and, for many of them, this will be their first time voting.
