The Integrity of Elections in Asia: Policy Lessons Applied
In response to a recent study by Max Grömping entitled The Integrity of Elections in Asia: Policy Lessons from Expert Evaluations, IFES produced a briefing paper with some examples of policy lessons applied in practice across Asia. On November 8, 2015, Myanmar will hold general elections. The 2015 elections will be an important milestone in Myanmar’s democratic transition. Approximately 30 million people are eligible to vote in this upcoming election, and, for many of them, this will be their first time voting.
