Important notice to: The People of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao
“Important Notice to: The People of Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao” is a May 1999 flyer encouraging residents of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao to register to vote so that they may participate in the September 1999 Regional Elections in the Philippines. “Primer on the Voter’s Registration Act of 1996” is a May 1997 booklet which explains the Voter Registration Act of 1996 where citizens of the Philippines wishing to vote in elections had to go through a system of continuing registration. The document, published by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, explains the act of registration and implications of the new system.

Registering Marginalized Populations to Vote in Nepal
As Nepal undergoes critical electoral and governance changes, IFES Nepal is working with local partners to register Nepalis – including Dalits, youth, Muslim women, freed Kamaiya (those subjected to forced labor) and other historically marginalized groups – to vote. This is part of IFES Nepal’s efforts to ensure that all Nepalis are able to participate actively in Nepal’s evolving political process.

IFES Announces Winners of 2016 Photography Contest
Two compelling photographs depicting insightful moments of Election Day in India and voter registration in Nepal have won the top prizes of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems’ (IFES) 2016 Photography Contest. They were part of 10 photographs selected as finalists among the more than 100 images that were submitted to the democracy-themed competition.

Voters Registry Revision and Elections Preparation: A Technical Assessment
This report concerns IFES efforts at voter registration in the Ivory Coast in 1994 for the national elections scheduled for 1995. The report includes notes from meetings with political parties, civic groups, government administrators, diplomatic corps and NGOs. The report discusses four major concern areas for the 1995 elections: lack of openness among the government, lack of participation in the revision process by opposition parties, the seamless relationship between the leading political party and the Ivoirian government and lastly, the vague laws regulating the electoral system in the Ivory Coast.
