Mohammed Al-Quraishi is the International Foundation for Electoral Systems’ (IFES) project and monitoring & evaluation manager in Iraq. Since 2005, Mohammed has managed U.S. government-funded development programs in Iraq, with a special focus on capacity building and civil society. In particular, Mohammed has experience in university-based, nonprofit youth capacity building, exchange programs, community mobilization projects and democracy and governance. Mohammed has a deep understanding of the Iraqi political and electoral context and the challenges and opportunities surrounding democratic development in Iraq. At IFES, Mohammed plays a leading role in monitoring and evaluation. His specialties include designing and managing performance management plans, logical frameworks, theories of change and indicators, as well as data collection, interpretation and quality control.
