Operational Planning is foundational to sustainable and credible elections. The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) is proud to publish Introduction to Operational Planning: A Guide for Election Management Bodies. This introductory guide was written as a resource for practitioners and intended to support Election Management Bodies (EMBs) throughout the election cycle.

Readers will be presented with concepts and methodologies and find practical information on how to develop operational planning outputs and adjust plans to meet change. Also included is a supplemental operational planning curriculum for EMBs and other stakeholders.
