Fostering Collaboration Between Civil Society, Governments and the Private Sector for Disability Inclusion in ASEAN
On March 30-31, IFES and the General Election Network for Disability Access (AGENDA) organized the two-day virtual Fifth Regional Disability Rights Dialogue to strengthen joint advocacy and cross-regional collaboration for disability inclusion, engaging 229 participants from across the world.

Sudan Election Administration Support Program
From 2009-13 IFES implemented the “Sudan Election Administration Support Program” (SEASP) to support Sudan’s national electoral processes during the interim period called for by the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which marked the end of Sudan’s most recent civil war.

Advocacy Success for Disability-Inclusive Responses to COVID-19 in Southeast Asia

Beyond Quotas: Political Accommodations and Gender in South Sudan
Since its birth, South Sudan has taken progressive steps toward creating an inclusive government – attempting to achieve gender equality in all levels of government. In July 2013, IFES and Conflict Dynamics International conducted a workshop to assist women members of government, civil servants and civil society members identify practical steps to ensure the nation’s electoral system genuinely accommodates women’s interests. This report presents the results of the workshop.
