This report reviews IFES efforts in Azerbaijan in support of the USAID project Civil Society Better Organized and Represented. Public Opinion in Azerbaijan 1998
This report presents the results of a survey of public opinion conducted in Azerbaijan during
October and November, 1998. This IFES survey was the first authentically national survey of public opinion in the country’s history, and it is the first survey to focus on attitudes toward the political and economic transition was occurring in Azerbaijan. The survey sought to collect information regarding levels of political and economic liberalism, governmental satisfaction and public knowledge of the Azerbaijani Government.
