Preliminary Electoral Results Transmission Document Presented to El Salvador’s Supreme Electoral Tribunal

Celebrating International Day of Persons with Disabilities
The annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities, held on December 3, commemorates the human rights of persons with disabilities. The theme for this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities is “Empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality.” In 2018, IFES partnered with disabled people’s organizations in every region of the world to develop new tools and approaches to empower people with disabilities to participate in political life.

A new Lebanese government was established in December 2016 and enacted a new election law in 2017. The new law was in force for parliamentary elections held on May 6, 2018, the first since June 2009. Citizen Participation in Natural Resource Management in Niger
It is critical to the security and economic development of Niger that citizens' voices are heard. IFES is working with local partners to increase awareness of the risks and rights of workers in the extractive resources industry, including uranium, oil and gold.
