Droits et Promotion de la Femme
“Droits et Promotion de la Femme” is a pamphlet from 1996, available in French, which seeks to explain why women in the Democratic Republic of Congo have been discriminated against and gives possible solutions in order to give women more rights and better their position in society and the economy. The document is published by a Christian group called l’Epiphanie and also touches on women’s place in the Church and spiritual solutions to the problem. Overall, the pamphlet makes the point that as democracy becomes important in Africa, countries should try and increase women’s rights in order to hold true to the values of democracy.

CEDAW Anniversary: Making Women's Equality a Reality in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Although the constitution of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) makes provisions for parity between men and women with a view to fair and equitable participation in the management of the city (Mbuji-Mayi), this participation remains only theoretical, despite the country’s ratification of treaties on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. IFES Survey Examines Priorities for Gender Advocacy in Armenia
IFES’ Applied Research Center (ARC) conducted a global survey of practitioners in gender equality and women’s empowerment in 40 countries where IFES is active. The survey identifies key issues and challenges affecting women and girls and examines priorities for advocacy on gender issues. The survey also assesses the effectiveness of women’s organizations and their capacity-building needs to improve future gender program interventions.
