Elections in Serbia: 2016 Early Parliamentary Elections
Serbia was scheduled to hold parliamentary elections in March 2018. However, on January 17 Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić called for snap parliamentary elections on April 24 in preparation for negotiations on Serbia’s accession to the European Union (EU). Local elections will also be held in 17 municipalities in Belgrade, and Vojvodina will elect a new Assembly.

In December 2013, Georgia ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), which calls on states to recognize the rights of persons with disabilities and to adopt appropriate measures to ensure that those rights are fully enjoyed.

Local Solutions for Sustainable Civic Education at Georgian Universities
April 2015 marked the one-year anniversary of the formation of the Civic Education Lecturers Association (CELA) – a formal network of over 50 university-level civic educators who teach the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES)-developed, semester-long and fully accredited civic education course, Democracy and Citizenship.
