Citizen Participation in Salvadoran Society with Special Emphasis on Gender: Executive Summary
This report analyzes voter participation among Salvadorans and discusses the reasons why they do and do not participate in elections. The report also looks at Salvadorans’ understanding of democracy, equality for both men and women in the political arena and finishes by discussing the future opportunities for participation in Salvadoran elections.
