Timor-Leste Parliamentary Elections, July 2017: Disability Access Monitoring
For Timor-Leste's 2017 presidential and parliamentary elections, IFES supported local disabled people’s organization Ra’es Hadomi Timor Oan (RHTO) to conduct disability access monitoring. For the parliamentary elections, RHTO deployed access monitors in every municipality and deployed monitors in the capital city for the presidential election. Elections in Georgia: 2017 Municipal Elections
On October 21, Georgians will go to the polls to elect their municipal government representatives. Across Georgia, citizens will elect 2,058 council members to 64 local councils (sakrebulos) of self-governing cities or communities. In addition, the mayor of Tbilisi as well as mayors of four self-governed cities and 59 mayors of self-governing communities will be elected directly.

New Report on Abuse of State Resources in Georgia
This report details findings from an IFES Abuse of State Resources Assessment conducted in Georgia following October 2016 elections. This assessment served as the pilot test of the Abuse of State Resources Research and Assessment Framework assessment methodology and draws on detailed desk research as well as a field research mission to Georgia in May 2017. Findings are focused on abuse of state resources legal provisions, oversight institutions and enforcement mechanisms.
