In response to a recent study by Max Grömping entitled The Integrity of Elections in Asia: Policy Lessons from Expert Evaluations, IFES produced a briefing paper with some examples of policy lessons applied in practice across Asia. Palestine will hold elections on May 13, with voters choosing 3,849 members of municipal and village councils in the West Bank. Elections have been called for 391 councils. However, voting will only be held for 145 councils.
