Haitian Delegation Participates in Election Observation Exchange Mission to Guatemala
From June 13-17, a delegation from Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) participated in an election observation and exchange mission organized by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Guatemala around the country’s June 16 general elections. Haitian Election Management Body Trained on Monitoring and Evaluation
From July 2-20, IFES partnered with Haiti's Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to conduct a monitoring and evaluation training for directors and managers from all 10 departments and units of the CEP. Through this training, IFES provided staff with the knowledge and tools to monitor and evaluate their daily and elections-related activities, developing the CEP’s long-term professional and technical capacity to improve internal systems and procedures.

Otito Greg-Obi Elected to Executive Committee of U.S Civil Society Working Group on Women, Peace and Security
On May 20, IFES Gender Program Coordinator Otito Greg-Obi was elected to the 2019-20 Executive Committee of the United States Civil Society Working Group (CSWG) on Women, Peace and Security (WPS). The CSWG is a nonpartisan, collaborative network of civil society organizations that provides technical assistance to governmental agencies seeking to integrate the WPS agenda into national security efforts.

Photo Gallery: IFES Organizes Conference for Field Leadership and Headquarters Staff
IFES has more than 400 staff spread across Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Eurasia and the Middle East and North Africa. During the week of May 12, 2019, IFES field leadership traveled to Arlington, Virginia, to meet with each other and colleagues in headquarters.
