Presentation of Armenian Parliamentary Mandates
IFES, the United Nations Development Programme and the Central Election Commission of Armenia organized a parliamentary mandate presentation ceremony. During the event, citizens handed over the mandates to members of Parliament (MPs) to represent the symbolic transfer of power from the people to the new MPs.

IFES Survey Examines Priorities for Gender Advocacy in Armenia
IFES’ Applied Research Center (ARC) conducted a global survey of practitioners in gender equality and women’s empowerment in 40 countries where IFES is active. The survey identifies key issues and challenges affecting women and girls and examines priorities for advocacy on gender issues. The survey also assesses the effectiveness of women’s organizations and their capacity-building needs to improve future gender program interventions.

This report summarizes IFES efforts towards building a civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1999 and 2000. The report details the projects aims and methods for establishing and supporting civil society in BiH.
