Project Promoting Leadership of Dominican Youth with Disabilities Recognized by National Council on Disability
In recognition of their efforts to increase the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the Dominican Republic, IFES and the Disability Alliance for Our Rights were awarded the 2019 Seal for Good Inclusive Practices for Persons with Disabilities by the National Council on Disability.

Elections in Argentina: 2019 General Elections
On October 27, Argentines went to the polls to elect a president and vice president, 24 senators and 130 deputies. A runoff will be held on November 24 if no presidential candidate receives at least 45 percent of the vote, or 40 percent with a 10-point marign over the runner-up. Haitian Delegation Participates in Election Observation Exchange Mission to Guatemala
From June 13-17, a delegation from Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) participated in an election observation and exchange mission organized by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Guatemala around the country’s June 16 general elections. Haitian Election Management Body Trained on Monitoring and Evaluation
From July 2-20, IFES partnered with Haiti's Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to conduct a monitoring and evaluation training for directors and managers from all 10 departments and units of the CEP. Through this training, IFES provided staff with the knowledge and tools to monitor and evaluate their daily and elections-related activities, developing the CEP’s long-term professional and technical capacity to improve internal systems and procedures.
