Elections in Argentina: 2019 General Elections
On October 27, Argentines went to the polls to elect a president and vice president, 24 senators and 130 deputies. A runoff will be held on November 24 if no presidential candidate receives at least 45 percent of the vote, or 40 percent with a 10-point marign over the runner-up. Haitian Delegation Participates in Election Observation Exchange Mission to Guatemala

Haitian Election Management Body Trained on Monitoring and Evaluation
From July 2-20, IFES partnered with Haiti's Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to conduct a monitoring and evaluation training for directors and managers from all 10 departments and units of the CEP. Through this training, IFES provided staff with the knowledge and tools to monitor and evaluate their daily and elections-related activities, developing the CEP’s long-term professional and technical capacity to improve internal systems and procedures.

Citizens of Papua New Guinea had been scheduled to go to the polls for local-level government (LLG) elections from June 22 to July 6. The schedule for the LLG elections was halted by a Supreme Court order on April 25.
